This album started out as a remix project/follow-up to an early dark ambient EP called 'Exotic Particles'. Now, after a looooong gestation period, only very small traces of the original pieces remain in a few tracks. Particularly after I decided to this was going to be an album of fairly concise tracks, with a running time pretty close to an LP.
Most of the beats were put together in Studio One using the very fun pattern editor. Everything else was done in Reaper.
